Established in 2000, Kaltz Ltd began by producing communication directories free of charge into the National Health Service. At that time, a number of publishers were producing communication directories for individual NHS Trusts but these media all carried sizeable cover charges. Where other publishers were just researching and listing management hierarchies within NHS Trusts, we also research supplier details. We then offered current NHS suppliers representation within the directory and the advertising revenue generated enabled us to provide 7,000 copies of “The National Procurement Directory” at no cost to Trusts in our first year.

Simply through an increase in demand, we now provide the NHS with 40,000 copies every year and our business model was so successful that we rolled it out to cover all state run secondary and independent schools, all Local Councils in the UK and all areas of the Emergency Services.

We now provide the public sector with approximately 90,000 hard copy directories which help to facilitate the sharing of best practice, and we currently assist around 1,500 companies to develop their public sector accounts.
